Since I was a child, I always developed my stories from my
own drawings. It was a way to bleed myself onto the pages through a charcoal
pencil. My stories soon followed and I find myself still picking up a drawing
pad and creating my characters through my love in drawing. It is my way…..
I write my plot lines and conclusions, but before I create
my characters I draw them onto paper. It makes me feel more attached to them
and helps create their flaws and attractions. The way I see them!
Strange I know….we all have our different ways. I connect
mostly with art, and I understand art. Truly there is no mistakes in art.
Writing is the tough part…..there is the misspells, grammar, and structure that
kicks me in the behind every time. Not really…..everything is really a work of
art, as long as it comes from your soul.
So I wanted to share some before and afters with you. These
are my very simple drawings, but I sure do love adobe programs. They make it so
much easier to form a simple children’s story.
Pretty simple sketch....Right?
Working progress....
Here is another...
Getting there.....
